Tom turned 50 and moved up into the 50+ division this year. Last year he took series second in my division. He's still faster than me though dangit. Posted by Hello

Jim Frith again. My videographer Mark is seen in the background. Mark and his dad Wayne were at every race taking these pictures and hiking way into the woods to get them. They usually got really dirty and muddy in the proccess and seemed to have a good time getting that way. Thanks guys. Hope to see you there next year. Posted by Hello

Jerry in the mud at danville. Mud was in abundance with the remnants of Hurricane Ivan squatting over the area the day before. Posted by Hello

Expert/pro(36-49) rider Jim Frith makes short work of a creek crossing at the danville race. Posted by Hello

I'm leading the race in my division (novice 36-49) at this point, about to be caught by the relentless pursuit of the mighty Gary. There was less than a minute separating 1st from 5th. I wound up 5th after missing a shift at a crucial moment late in the race. It was an epic battle from start to finish. Posted by Hello

I don't recognize the rider in this pic, but it's a fair example of the terrain when there wasn't a big woop to run through. Posted by Hello

There were many pileups like this at PVP in lynchburg. As I said, some made it, some did not. My apologies to the guys in this shot, we all had these moments in this race. Posted by Hello

A bit of water. Crossing the Pigg river at The MW windows challenge in franklin county at Waid park. (yes it really is spelled that way) Note the submerged bottom bracket on jerry's bike in the background. Posted by Hello

I'm about to hop over a small rise. Some made it over, some did not. There were about 50 of these "little" bumps at the Peaksview park race in lynchburg. some of them were 6ft tall on the far wall with a 3ft dropin to get momentum. Posted by Hello

Me making a splash at falling creek, and also the very instant that I pinchflatted against a submerged axehead rock. (pinched my tube against the rim and a flat) Posted by Hello

Welcome

Welcome to my new Bike blog. I'm hoping to use this in place of my old personal webpage which takes too much time to edit.
